I’ve been a singer for as long as I can remember and I’ve been blessed to turn my gift and passion into both a beautifully successful vocal company and a life-long career that has been filled with many of my life’s most amazing connections and experiences. After a life of singing in church and school, at age 15, I began Classical voice training as well as performance training which led me to graduate from Dekalb School of the Arts (High School) where I studied voice, acting and minored in Visual Art.

Now, I am a Voice Teacher and Vocal Health Instructor, certified by the Music and Arts Healing Institute with Ashaala Shanae and New York Vocal Coaching with Justin Stoney. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Management from the Georgia State University School of Music. While in school, at age 19, I was booked for my 1st paid gig as a BGV! The rest? HISTORY!

With my studies in Vocal Pedagogy, my training and experience in performance and my specialty and love for Background Vocals, I currently coach artists, BGVs and groups all over the world. I also perform, tour and have recorded with and for some of music’s greatest stars and events such as Kirk Franklin, Mariah Carey, Tyrese, Jermaine Dupree and So So Def, Musiq Soulchild, Donald Lawrence, Monica, the BMI Hip-Hop & R&B Awards (Honoring Brandy and Janet Jackson), Yolanda Adams and many more. In addition to performing as a BGV, I am trusted to Contract BGVs and often times serve as the Vocal Director for various awards shows and televised events like the Stellar Awards, Superbowl Soulful Celebration, Black Music Honors, Urban One Honors and a host of major artists and other musical productions. I’ve even written, arranged and featured on some incredible TV shows, films, documentaries and projects on major networks such as OWN's "Greenleaf", BET's "Boomerang", Lifetime's "Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia", "Black Church" on PBS, "By Whatever Means Necessary" on EPIX and more.

My work in the industry as a songwriter, Contractor, Vocal Director, featured vocalist, and Vocal Coach came about as a result of initially being given an opportunity to work as a background vocalist. While my gifts have been instrumental in making room for me in some very cool spaces, my purpose is to help others. That’s why I’m inviting you into my world to share some real truths and lessons I’ve gathered throughout my career (that spans well over a decade) that I believe can help you move forward in your own journey as a Background Vocalist!
